Bob Lurie
Senior Practice Leader
Bob has over 40 years of experience as an executive, consultant and thought leader.
Between 2014 and 2021, he was the VP of Strategy, Insights and Analytics for Eastman Chemical, where he led the development of new/refreshed growth strategy for nearly all Eastman Divisions, resulting in significant acceleration of revenue and margin growth. He also designed and led several initiatives related to the company's transformation from diversified to specialty chemical.
Prior to that, he spent 30 years at Monitor Company, where he addressed the full range of Corporate and Business Unit strategy and implementation issues across multiple regulated sectors and founded a successful unit dedicated to growth strategy (Market2Customer™, LLC).
He has several published works on the topics of Marketing Capabilities and Growth Strategy. Bob lives between North Carolina and Massachusetts with his wife and tries to get together with their adult children as much as possible.
Joao Lopes
Co-Founder and CEO
Joao Lopes is the Co-Founder and CEO of Delta G. With over 20 years of experience in professional services, Joao has primarily focused on growth strategy, program management, and supply chain across Europe, North America, and South America. He has worked with a range of industries, including General Industrials, Engineered Materials, Chemicals, and Life Sciences. Joao's expertise spans designing infrastructure for growth, developing growth strategies, and focusing on core growth capabilities such as Marketing, Sales, and Innovation.
Before starting Delta G, Joao was a partner at CapSys Group, a Swiss boutique Life Sciences consulting company, for over 9 years, where he was a key contributor to quintupling the size of the business. Prior to that, he spent 6 years at Monitor Group (Brazil and Switzerland) and held positions in Corporate Finance.
Joao is a Brazilian national with advanced degrees in Economics and Management, and he speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English, German, Italian, and French. He currently resides in Basel, Switzerland with his wife, who is a senior portfolio insights leader for a large pharmaceutical company, and their two children.
